Movers in Bloomington, IN

Bloomington moves around the calendar. End of the semester brings a wave of student moves near campus, while families and faculty tend to move in the older neighborhoods like Elm Heights and around Bryan Park. We handle the tight parking near the university, the porch steps on the older homes, and the apartment buildings that fill up fast in August and empty out in May.

Moving and storage in Bloomington

Storage is part of what we do here in Bloomington. Short-term, long-term and in-transit options are all available, and the crews who move your home handle the pickup into storage and the redelivery out of it.

In-transit storage covers the gap when a move-out date and a move-in date do not line up: we load the home, keep everything stored, and redeliver when the new place is ready. A May move-out with an August move-in needs cover for a whole summer rather than a week.

Everything we store is logged in a full written inventory before it goes in, so you always know what is being kept. The facility is built to keep conditions steady through Indiana summers and winters, which is what protects wood furniture, upholstery and electronics from the warping and mildew a hot garage brings. Billing runs month to month with no long contract, so a summer in storage does not quietly turn into a year.

Downtown around the Courthouse Square has its own rhythm, with one-way streets and limited curb space, and we plan loads accordingly. For graduates and professionals leaving town, long-distance moves are a big part of what we do here. A new job often means a move across the state line, and we make that careful and straightforward.

Bloomington sits about fifty minutes south of Indianapolis on SR-37 and I-69, so we move people in both directions all the time. Whether you are heading up to the city, planning a residential move near Bryan Park, or relocating across the country, get an instant online quote or call 317-284-1900.
