These terms cover this website. They are not your moving contract. The document you sign before we load anything is what governs the move itself, and where the two ever disagree, that signed agreement wins.

Using this site

You are welcome to read this site, quote from it, and share links to it. Do not copy the site wholesale, scrape it, try to break it, or use it to send anyone anything they did not ask for. The text, photographs and layout belong to Soft Touch Moving and Storage unless stated otherwise.

Estimates are estimates

This is the important part. Anything you get from the online form, over the phone, or from the rates page is an estimate based on what you have told us. It is not a binding price and it is not a booking.

• A price becomes firm only in the written estimate we issue for your specific move, after we understand what is actually being moved.
• What changes a price: more or heavier items than described, stairs, long carries, difficult parking or access, waiting time, a change of date, or extra services added on the day.
• Nothing is reserved until we confirm the booking with you. A submitted form is a request, not a slot.

The rates published on this site are current at the date above and can change. We will always quote you the rate that applies to your move before you commit.

What we say about the company

We try to keep everything on this site accurate and up to date. Service areas, timescales and descriptions can change, and occasionally something here will be out of date or simply wrong. If a detail matters to your decision, call 317-284-1900 and have us confirm it rather than relying on the page.

Reviews and testimonials

Customer comments quoted on this site describe those customers' own moves. Every move is different, and one person's experience is not a promise about yours.

Some pages link out, and our quote form is provided by MoveitPro. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information. Their terms apply when you are using them. What we do with your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Claims, damage and disputes about a move

Anything to do with an actual move, including liability, valuation and how a claim is made, is governed by the signed moving agreement and by the state and federal rules that apply to movers, not by this page. If something has gone wrong with a move, do not start with this page: call us on 317-284-1900 and we will deal with it.

The website itself

We provide this site as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for loss arising from using the site itself. This does not limit any right you have that cannot be limited by law, and it does not affect our obligations under a moving agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Indiana.

We may update these terms. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the current one.
